Hi, I'm Tania, welcome to my page Appetite For Success. I'd really love to share with you a bit about myself and this business, and the potential to change your life.
If you are looking, like I was, for an opportunity to work and live in a different way, to experience freedom and a lifestyle you've always dreamed of, then I invite you to take a couple of minutes to discover more.
A short introduction: I live in Cambridge, UK with husband Matthew and cute rescue dog Pickle. Our 2 beautiful daughters have (almost) left home so we are soon to be 'empty nesters'.
We both had corporate careers for 25 years until I realised how unhappy and trapped I was, and Matthew was suddenly also out of work. I discovered Personal Development and it helped me through a very difficult period of change. I began to understand all the thoughts that had been holding me back 'til that point.
It inspired me to find a way of working where I could be in charge of my time and decide how much I was worth! When I was introduced to this unique business opportunity, marketing personal development and wealth creation programmes, I found my purpose and rediscovered my passion for helping others lead their best life.
My gorgeous family, on holiday in the Middle East and exploring the desert. The girls have the travel bug too and we intend to share many more trips with them.
Three generations of family on our annual spa holiday together. Sheer luxurious bliss. And we absolutely deserve it!
Pickle the rescue dog is a really good reason to work portably; she never leaves my side when I'm working on my business, ever hopeful for her walk.
Our favourite winter past-time is skiing with friends and family - something we want to continue when our grandchildren come along and we can ski with them!
Back story. Leaving a 27-year long and (mostly) exciting exec career in hospitality was a big decision, but one I had to make for my own health and sanity. I'd towed the line, followed the traditional route - college, career, house, family....large amounts of debt - and it was sucking the life out of me. Leaving the 'safety' of a well-paid job was a huge leap of faith, but I was determined to do something different. I wanted to spend more time with my young teen girls and find out what I was capable of achieving.
The problem. I had to learn to believe in myself and my personal development journey took me down the path of coaching. I qualified as a life coach, and I loved helping other people turn their lives around. However, I found I'd swapped a 60 hour week for even longer hours and I was having to invest heavily in further training and marketing my services. We were getting further into debt and had to take drastic action to avoid bankruptcy, selling our house and most of our possessions. We had little savings and we were resigned to burying our dreams altogether.
The lifeline. A friend and ex-colleague told me about this business opportunity she'd found and, frankly, I was cynical. I waited, and saw the impact it had on her life over the next year. I ran out of excuses! You know when you're in the right place? Where you can grow, succeed and learn with like-minded people... Where true success is the result of a simple business system, life/mind-changing programmes and consistent application of both. I never thought it was possible to have a business I could flex around my life, create spectacular results with, and love, but here it is. Our life goals, that once seemed impossible, are now a reality.
